About

Currently I work as ecologist and applied remote sensing scientist studying the effects of disturbances on Mediterranean ecosystems in the Department of Mediterranean Pastures and Sylvopastoral Systems (Zaidín Experimental Station, Spanish National Research Council). Previously I worked at Laboratory of Ecology of Andalusian Institute for Earth System Research (2009-2021), involved in the Sierra Nevada Global Change Observatory and in the Sierra Nevada LTER-site. I also worked as freelance ecologist consultant, focusing on restoration projects and ecology of threatened species.
